Half a month of war and no end in sight
What was supposed to be a brief police action, to “rid Iraq of weapons of mass destruction” is now being sold to us as a “long fight for Iraqi liberation” (Problem is, we now know the bitter truth, that the Iraqi’s don’t want to be “liberated” by us at all, and prefer the devil they know to the one they don’t)
The weeks are now beginning to tick by, escalation is happening daily with over 100,000 more troops now being called up for this war that our leaders promised was going to be “quick, easy and bloodless”
Multiple military casualties are reported daily with as much emotion as the daily hog report, the totals printed in our newspapers like they were sports scores
Troops are starting to murder civilians indiscriminately, including women, children and the elderly
As the lies, deaths and utter madness of this failed operation begin to sink in to the American public we must ask ourselves one thing,…where have we seen this before?
